Rebecca Farlow is a forensic anthropologist with a Master’s degree from the University of Tennessee, one of the preeminent programs in the country. UT is home to Dr. Bill Bass’ legendary “Body Farm,” the world’s only facility for the study of human decomposition. Rebecca spent over a year working at the Body Farm, where she gained detailed knowledge of the day-to-day processes of the breakdown of the human body. In addition, she studied DNA degradation in relation to postmortem interval for her Master’s thesis. Rebecca has a B.S. in biological sciences and minors in genetics and anthropology from North Carolina State University. She loves studying the skeleton and sharing that knowledge with others.
